Kyle and Wally start arguing immediately, Kyle is pissed at Wally’s behavior while Wally just wants the rookie to step back and watch how real heroes work. While distracted they both get blasted and Sonar makes his escape.Kyle saves Wally then Wally takes off. He saves some civilians from the villain before he gets blasted. About to be killed Kyle comes in and saves him again. They start another verbal spat which results in sonar’s escape. Kyle proposes they work together to save the day Wally thinks otherwise, they try to take on sonar again.Elsewhere the man who Kyle gave ring made legs has his feet disappear. Losing his legs for a second time makes him vow revenge. The guys finally learn to work together and defeat the villain. They still don’t like each other though. They part of somewhat friendly terms both thinking the other could not have saved the day without them.
